This key role on the Sales Cloud Product Marketing team will bring key initiatives to life via events by partnering with our sales, product, and activation teams to generate and drive pipeline for the Sales Cloud businesses at Salesforce.


If you’re passionate about the end-to-end event planning experience and product marketing, this role is for you! In addition to getting exposure to core PMM responsibilities, you will play a vital role in planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events for Sales Cloud. You will ensure details are seamlessly coordinated to create memorable experiences for our clients and guests all while driving growth for Sales Cloud.


Position Responsibilities


  • Event Logistics
  • Event Planning and Execution
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, including but not limited to hands on workshops, executive roundtables, and product feedback sessions.
  • Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, and transportation.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, including but not limited to hands on workshops, executive roundtables, and product feedback sessions.
  • Communication & Coordination
  • Drafting exec communications and securing internal & external speakers
  • Ensure content (decks, PDFs, workshop guides) are complete and accessible by attendees.
  • Schedule speaker prep calls & dry runs
  • Manage recording assets and event follow up with attendees
  • Communicate event details to participants, sponsors, and other relevant parties.
  • Managing Nominations, RSVPs, and Communications
  • Create event landing pages with all the event info and managing event approvals internally
  • Update & create email invites for Sales to send to customers
  • Partner with sales and enablement to drive registration through seller communications
  • Manage nominations and RSVPs
  • Reminders to customers about the event and logistics i.e. schedule of the event, food, parking etc.
  • Assist in conducting post-event evaluations for events, gathering feedback on the in person and/or virtual experiences and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Post-Event Evaluation:

  • Generate reports summarizing the success of events against established goals.


What does the ideal candidate look like?


Required Skills


  • 3-4 years of experience in tech events, product marketing, industry marketing, or corporate marketing
  • Strong program management experience. Someone who is driven and can get a project from A-Z and everything in between without missing deadlines or details.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Some experience in event planning and logistics to drive hands-on tactical execution
  • Some experience with events and business metrics
  • Hands-on ability to create a range of marketing assets, including and succinct slide enablement decks.
  • Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.)


Preferred Skills


  • Experience in Salesforce products and/or other SaaS and B2B technology platforms
  • Experience working with direct distribution (sales) teams is a plus
  • Ability to inspire optimism, fun, and the desire to always be learning!
  • A natural collaborator with willingness & drive to help teammates to succeed
  • Get-it-Done confidence to pick up and lead new projects even in the face of ambiguity

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $88,500 to $121,700.


For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $97,300 to $133,800.


Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
